Product Review – Pet Stick Massager
You know how nice it is to get an relaxing massage after exercising? Now you can share that feeling with your dog. Intracell of Atlanta, Georgia, in the good ol’ US of A have added a Pet Stick to their line of Massage Aids.
Intracell make performance enhancing massagers for sports-people and have brought the technology to the pet world. Consisting of a red plastic handle, a flexible core, a massage wheel, and seven rollers, the device allows pet owners to give their animal a soothing rub down after doing the Pooch To 5k program. Other uses include therapeutic massage after injury (please take advice from your vet before trying this one at home), warming up muscles before commencing an exercise session, and bonding with your dog.
We have used our trial unit on all four of our dogs and they honestly love it. Guinness and Sinner lean hard against the rubbing action of the rollers, and the whippets move around to expose other parts of their bodies to the massage therapy.
The unit is 34 cm long and made of sturdy nylon and other plastics. It is able to be sterilised by bleaching or similar without suffering ill effects and appears very durable.
It is available from See Me Run in Queensland.
Please note, See Me Run is a business I operate, so my endorsement needs to be read with that in mind.
Thanks for mentioning the Pet Stick. We work with the manufacturer and noticed your post as a ping-back on their website. I personally have two dogs, which love the Pet Stick (we own one also). The dogs come running to us when we pick it up – clearly they enjoy it. Again, thx.
